Kleven Verft in Norway has finally a sold a subsea vessel that has been at the yard since it was launched nearly two years ago.
The vessel, described only as yard number 379, has been sold to what the Norwegian shipbuilder described only as “an unspecified international player.”
“We are pleased to have secured a solution for this vessel. This was a challenging project for us, since the original client could not take over the vessel. It is great to see that the vessel is in operation,” said Kleven chief executive Ståle Rasmussen.
The vessel is believed to be the former IES Energy, which was ordered by IES Pioneer Ltd and launched in 2015. The vessel is of Marin Teknikk’s MT 6015 design.
